The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has approved Higher National Diploma (HND) programs at Eko College of Management and Technology (EkoCity Polytechnic) following a successful three-day accreditation visit.
During the visit, the NBTE accreditation team thoroughly assessed the institution’s academic personnel, laboratories, workshops, studios, classrooms, and other learning facilities in line with NBTE standards. The programs approved for HND include Mass Communication, Data Security and Protection, Journalism and Media Studies, Strategic Communication and Media Studies, Software and Web Development, Science Laboratory Technology, Accountancy, Business Administration, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, and Public Administration.
At the conclusion of the exercise, the NBTE team commended the management and proprietors of the institution for their strong commitment to quality technical and professional education. While minor recommendations were made for continuous improvement, the overall assessment was highly satisfactory, leading to the full approval of HND programs.
With this approval, EkoCity Polytechnic is now fully authorized to admit and graduate students with the Higher National Diploma (HND) in the approved programs, further strengthening its position as a growing and reputable polytechnic in Nigeria.
